Lead the Way in Computer Science at Bluecoat Trent Academy

We are seeking a visionary and passionate leader to take on the role of Head of Computer Science at Bluecoat Trent Academy. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our Computer Science department and driving excellence in teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and a deep understanding of the subject. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Computer Science, including curriculum design, teacher development, and student outcomes.

As Head of Computer Science, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Leading a team of teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
  • Working with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Computer Science
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress and outcomes
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
