About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Change Grow Live as a Team Leader, where you will be responsible for the operational line management of a team of staff. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management, as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles.

You will empower staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users in reaching their full potential as individuals and community members. You will work with your team and the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children, and families who are at risk.

You will also ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users. You will support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice and providing timely values-based feedback. Additionally, you will lead on the recruitment, selection, and induction of staff.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience. You should have knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services that evidence high performance and quality standards.

You should also have significant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention. You should have knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice.

You should be able to lead, inspire, and develop a team. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

We offer a competitive salary range of CGL points 31 to 33 (£34,700.09 - £36,635.37).
