Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer Opportunity

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing and inspection, with a focus on high-end commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough electrical inspections and testing procedures to ensure compliance with BS7671
  2. Manage and supervise apprentice or other electricians on site
  3. Produce commercial EICR's and defect lists using Shineforms and Microsoft Excel
  4. Generate materials lists and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements:

  1. 18th Edition certification
  2. CSCS or ECS Card
  3. 2391 OR 2394/2395 certification
  4. Experience using a laptop to create reports and certification software
  5. Full UK driver's license
  6. Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial EICR's
  7. Structured electrical training including City and Guilds/BTEC electrical qualification Level 3 (preferred)

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per year, with overtime opportunities up to £60,000. A company phone, van, fuel card, pension, and holidays are also included.
