Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Health Visitor, you will lead the Healthy Child Programme 0-5 and manage a named health visitor mixed caseload of universal, enhanced, and specialized pathway families. You will provide holistic assessments using the My World Triangle and utilize planning skills to identify and address health needs in a defined local population.
You will provide early help support to families when required, utilizing the Early Help Assessment and within a Team Around the Early Years model. You will be accountable for your work and delegate activities as required to other members of the integrated Start Well Team.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Health Visitor with a broad-based experience in nursing and health visiting. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to be adaptable, reliable, and approachable.
You will need to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the national agenda for children and families and how this will impact on your role as a Health Visitor. A degree in a relevant subject is desirable, as is knowledge of Health Visiting practice and evidence base, including NBO/NBAS knowledge and skills.
