About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our client's support package in their own home. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's holistic wellbeing is supported at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medication as required
- Assist with moving and handling, including the use of hoist transfers
- Accompany our client in the community, supporting them with daily activities
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping
- Cook and clean as needed, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
- Transport our client to and from appointments, using a company vehicle
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting our client's mental and physical wellbeing
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Full UK driving licence required
- Commitment to long-term care for one client
- Willingness to be trained to CQC standards
- Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and a caring approach
- Confidentiality and respect for our client's dignity
