Site Engineer Opportunity

Cherry Professional is working with a leading Civil Engineering and Building company to find a skilled Site Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on multiple projects and develop your skills in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and communicate construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, and other purposes.
  • Ensure accurate setting and implementation of construction plans.
  • Manage and amend RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) documents.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Manage labour and materials, and oversee on-site operations.
  • Provide regular progress reports and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety standards are met.
  • Continuously develop knowledge and implement best practices in the industry.
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and company policies.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Residential build experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for projects.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to motivate teams to meet targets.
  • Previous experience in managing labour and materials.
  • Health and safety responsibilities.
  • Numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
