Teaching Assistant for Primary School in Mid Cornwall

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil with autism in a Key Stage 1 class at a mainstream primary school in Mid Cornwall.
Job Summary:- Provide support to a pupil with autism in a 1-1 setting
- Work with the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities
- Support the pupil's wellbeing and engagement in lessons
- Assist with behaviour management and adapting to individual needs
- Deliver activities on a 1-1 or small group basis
- Ensure children are engaged and motivated
- Adapt to every individual pupil's needs
- Help with behaviour management and creating displays of children's work
- Experience supporting children or adults with similar needs
- Ability to work with a pupil with autism in a 1-1 setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
