Teaching Assistant for Primary School in Mid Cornwall

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Mid Cornwall. The successful candidate will work closely with a pupil with autism in Key Stage 1, providing individualized support and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with autism in Key Stage 1
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Assist with lesson preparation, delivery, and assessment
- Support the pupil's social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the pupil's education
- Experience working with children with autism or similar needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
