Assistant Manager Opportunity at Tara's Retreat Care Home

B&M Care Homes, a leading provider of private residential and specialist dementia care, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Tara's Retreat Care Home in Sandridge.

About the Role:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of staff rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, social services, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the care home's quality improvement plan.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience in dementia care and management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
