Neighbourhood Services Manager

Rate: £20 - £24 per hour, depending on pay status
Duration: Temporary, 3 months
Hours: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Our client, a specialist domestic abuse charity, is seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as an ambassador, providing high-quality neighbourhood customer services and management services, ensuring compliance with arrears and income policies.
- Organise and participate in neighbourhood surgeries, taking a proactive approach to meet Housing Management service requirements.
- Deliver neighbourhood management services in accordance with specified standards and agreed policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of service-related complaints and queries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Identify and connect customers with local agencies, groups, and businesses to support their goals.
- Support women with referrals and application forms, signposting them to external services as necessary.
- Liaise with local authorities, housing benefit, and DWP to address benefits and housing-related issues.
- Deal with abandoned properties and tenancy fraud.
- Support the Head of Housing & Income Services with delivery against Management Agreements and joint working with other landlords.
- Keep the Head of Housing & Income Services informed about issues arising within the Neighbourhood Officer's patch.
- Take legal action when necessary for breaches of Tenancy.
- Comply with the Association's Health and Safety policy.
- Strong experience of Social Housing Management.
- DBS on the update service.
- Full driving licence with own vehicle.
