Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at a leading private hospital in Swindon. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of support services within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the effective management of all non-clinical functions within the hospital.
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services to create and deliver the strategic, operational, and business development plan for the hospital.
- Identify business development opportunities, such as new services and the development of existing services.
- Contribute to the hospital's business plan and support departmental managers in formulating departmental plans and objectives.
- Ensure delivery of NHS activity according to RTT 18 week protocols.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or postgraduate leadership and management qualification.
- Sound financial skills to interpret financial data.
- Experience in analysis, reporting, and proposal development for capital assets and infrastructure investment.
- Commercial contract management experience, including property, funders of healthcare, and NHS standard contracts.
- Knowledge of the service sector and revenue management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within hospital management.
