Packaging Team Leader

Join Pertemps Birmingham Industrial as a Packaging Team Leader and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for manufacturing.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to support the Packaging Manager in the development of the team and to meet the packaging schedule while conforming to all product specifications and maintaining a high level of hygiene and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to achieve operational excellence
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and total site team working
  • Implement change and drive results-oriented discussions
  • Record production data accurately for auditing purposes
  • Monitor and report daily/weekly efficiencies
  • Raise corrective actions to engineers and continuous improvement leader
  • Ensure quality standards are met and correct labelling, weight, and measures are implemented
  • Use SAP ERP system to record data
  • Conduct PDR meetings and manage back-to-back interviews
  • Support staff development and future opportunities
Working Hours

The Packaging Team Leader will work rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, 06:00 am - 14:00 pm, 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm, and 22:00 pm - 06:00 am, with the night shift being Sunday to Thursday.
