About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team in Southend-on-Sea. As an integral part of our support team, you will work closely with students with SEN to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN and additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities that meet the individual needs of students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young adults with SEN in an educational or care setting.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
