We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Manager to join our team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Band 7 Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for delivering operational management, clinical leadership, and supervision to designated teams of staff within the Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Ensure the effective management of resources, including staff, budget, and facilities, to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to designated teams, ensuring that services provide high-quality evidence-based nursing assessment, care planning, interventions, and evaluations for patients.
- Staff Development: Contribute to the professional development and clinical supervision of team members, including the development and implementation of regular appraisal and performance management systems.
- Quality Improvement: Ensure that all aspects of care provided to service users are of the highest quality, delivered in a manner that is respectful and sensitive to their needs and the needs of the carer.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within the team, ensuring that all staff are aware of and compliant with Trust policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Essential Qualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a clear record of ongoing continuing professional development.
- Essential Experience: Substantial experience as a clinician, including experience of providing high-quality care exceeding expectations, and experience of effectively coordinating and leading shifts.
- Desirable Qualifications: Post-registration training in an area relevant to caring for adults with acute mental health problems.
