Position: In-house Legal Counsel

The legal division, operating across multiple global locations, is seeking a qualified UK Solicitor to enhance their team. The selected individual will be tasked with delivering legal advice to the organization, with a primary focus on commercial agreements and everyday legal matters within the automotive industry, particularly in the area of Race Engineering. Furthermore, the role involves collaboration with both internal and external partners, managing Company Secretarial responsibilities, and keeping abreast of legal developments that impact the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel on a diverse range of commercial agreements and legal issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers
- Engage with internal and external legal representatives
- Deliver legal support to management and stakeholders
- Manage Company Secretarial functions
- Proactively offer legal insights and assistance
- Track changes in legislation and conduct internal training sessions
Qualifications:
- Qualified UK Solicitor with a robust background in contract law
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in summarizing complex legal issues
- Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous
