About the Role
ZF Group is seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Team. As a key member of our Corporate Legal department, you will provide legal guidance and support to our UK management and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial contracts and day-to-day issues, including contentious and non-contentious matters in the automotive sector.
- Review, draft, and negotiate B2B supplier and customer contracts, as well as Collaboration, Development, or License Agreements.
- Cooperate with international colleagues and authorities on matters such as supplier insolvencies, antitrust issues, IT projects, litigation, and insurance claims.
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance to UK management and key stakeholders.
- Take over Company Secretarial duties for our UK companies.
- Offer pro-active legal support and advice to internal customers.
- Monitor changes in legislation affecting the business and provide internal training on such matters.
Requirements
- Qualified UK Solicitor with a strong UK contract law background.
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Confident and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to structure complex issues and summarize them in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in the automotive sector and manufacturing environment is beneficial.
