Job Title: Senior Quality Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Quality Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to offenders, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways for offenders.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with prison staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a prison or offender healthcare setting.
  • Experience of setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care.
  • Working knowledge of current issues and agendas facing prison and offender healthcare.
  • Knowledge of current national prison health quality and performance indicators.
