About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Strategist to join our team at Peers for the Planet. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission to drive positive change for climate and nature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategy: Create and execute a strategic plan to secure funding from a diverse range of sources, including grants, donations, and corporate partnerships.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential funders, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and foundations.
  • Research and Identify New Funding Opportunities: Conduct thorough research to identify new funding opportunities and develop targeted proposals to secure support.
  • Manage and Coordinate Fundraising Activities: Oversee the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, events, and other activities to support our mission.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Fundraising Performance: Track and analyze fundraising metrics to ensure we are meeting our targets and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant funding from a variety of sources.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the funding landscape, including grants, donations, and corporate partnerships. Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills. Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with funders, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
