Job Title: Autism Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Autism Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Tower Hamlets. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have a strong understanding of Autism and SEN, and be able to provide high-quality support to students with Autism.

Job Summary:
  • Full-time term-time only role supporting students with Autism and SEN
  • Opportunity to work alongside qualified SEND professionals and Specialist Teachers
  • Chance to make a meaningful impact on children's lives and develop your career in Education and Psychology
Job Role:
  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis in their studies
  • Assist students with Autism in managing daily routines, including personal care, leisure activities, and educational tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the SENDCo and Specialist Teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a Top 10 UK University
  • Previous experience supporting children with Autism and SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
