About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Integration Specialist to play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications across diverse Windows Desktop and Server environments. As a member of the Managed Applications team, you will spearhead the assessment and adoption of optimal design frameworks for transitioning applications onto established and deployed platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide input into Solution Design documentation in accordance with the Workstream plans.
  2. Report regularly to the Workstream Lead & Scrum Master on progress, issues, risks, blocks and identifying recovery/mitigation actions.
  3. Ensure compliance of all Solution Design work with the current baseline of Managed Applications workstream business processes defined by the workstream.
  4. Raise all delivery/performance issues with the Workstream Lead in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken.
  5. Liaise with Authority representatives in deriving the solution for complex cases.

Requirements

  1. Advanced application packaging & repackaging
  2. Ability to Integrate COTS, GOTS and Client/Server based applications within Windows and/or Linux based environments.
  3. Including advanced application configuration aspects such as creating Custom Actions, creating, and tailoring Transforms and associated troubleshooting.
  4. Good working knowledge of VMware
  5. Familiar with using both historic and current Windows and Linux systems.
