Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Dysphagia Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with disorders of communication and swallowing.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, managing, and treating patients with dysphagia, using advanced evidence-based principles and patient-centered approaches. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Main Duties- Assess and manage patients with dysphagia, using advanced evidence-based principles and patient-centered approaches.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide high-quality care to patients, using a range of therapeutic interventions and techniques.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist, with a strong background in dysphagia assessment and management. You will need to have a recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification, and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will also need to have a wide range of CPD activities, especially related to specialist areas.
Desirable criteria include relevant Masters-level studies, clinical supervisor training, and experience of managing staff and other resources.
