Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Dysphagia Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with disorders of communication and swallowing.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, managing, and treating patients with dysphagia, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Main Duties- Assess and manage patients with dysphagia, using advanced evidence-based principles to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, including discharge planning and facilitation.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and service improvements.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist, with a strong background in dysphagia assessment and management. The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- HCPC registration and membership of the RCSLT.
- Postgraduate qualification or training in dysphagia.
- Minimum two years post-graduate experience with adult caseload.
- Experience as an autonomous dysphagia therapist.
