Position: Cycling Instructors

This is a pivotal moment for cycling in the UK, and BikeRight is on the lookout for several instructors to join our successful Bikeability programs across various regions. We are particularly interested in recruiting and training new instructors in specific areas.

Job Details

  • Part-time roles available during school terms, with a minimum annual hour commitment and opportunities for additional hours during holidays and weekends.
  • Fixed-term contracts with the possibility of freelance (self-employed) arrangements.

Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive training package valued at over £, which includes the Sport Level Award in Instructing Cycle Training, First Aid, Safeguarding, Cycle Maintenance, and CRM system training. Ongoing tutor support, mentoring, and professional development opportunities are key features of our organization.

Main Responsibilities

Instructors will be responsible for:

  • Planning, delivering, and managing cycle training sessions in schools, adhering to National Standards and Bikeability delivery guidelines.
  • Maintaining effective communication with schools, trainees, and the broader BikeRight team.
  • Promoting a positive cycling culture and advocating for BikeRight's mission and objectives.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess strong IT skills, and exhibit conscientiousness, reliability, and flexibility.
