About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, committed to assisting service users and their families. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering positive change, providing guidance, information, and continuous support to enhance health and wellbeing, while building resilience and self-esteem.

We value hard work, adaptability, and the ability to engage with service users both in various settings and within the community. We encourage applications from individuals with personal experience, as well as those who have collaborated with partner organizations such as educational institutions and child welfare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of service users, creating, executing, and evaluating ongoing care strategies while collaborating closely with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations with service users.
  • Lead effective case management for assigned service users, including ongoing activities such as risk assessments and safeguarding protocols, utilizing an online case management system.
  • Enhance outcomes for children, parents, and families of service users by mitigating the effects of substance-related challenges on family dynamics and encouraging active family participation in recovery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to service users and others by adhering to local and organizational safeguarding policies, including referrals to relevant safeguarding bodies.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and establish a community presence for our Family Work initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other Family Workers across the region, providing support as needed.
