About the Role

The Priory Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at Priory Hospital Preston. As a Dietitian Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the nutritional assessment and treatment of our eating disorders patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with eating disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, to provide holistic care to patients.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and eating disorders.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with a degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Experience working with patients with eating disorders, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of nutrition assessment and treatment protocols, including Naso-Gastric feeding.
