Job Title: Rehabilitation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Engineer to join our team at Equals One Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs, and prescribing manual and powered wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories.

About the Role:
  • Use clinical and technical skills to assess mobility needs and prescribe equipment
  • Supervise junior staff and provide clinical and technical guidance
  • Work with clinical and operational colleagues to deliver high-quality service performance
  • Liaise with service user groups and stakeholders to improve service user outcomes
  • Provide support for internal and external training programs
About You:
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills combined with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and workshop equipment
  • Confident in the use of digital systems and software for record-keeping and analysis
  • Registered as a Clinical Technologist or with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist
