About the Role:

The Senior Care Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the care and support of residents in a Barchester care home. This will involve supervising a team of Care Assistants and working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to residents.
  • Support the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and care reviews.
  • Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects the dignity and preferences of residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the delivery of individualised care and support to residents.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will also need to have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality care and support to residents.
