Job Summary
Premier Foods is seeking a skilled Food Connoisseur to join our team as a Product Palate Specialist. As a key member of our taste panel, you will play a crucial role in identifying key differences and similarities between our products.
About the Role
- As a Product Palate Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in tasting and discussion sessions to identify, describe, and quantify differences in food products.
- You will be testing existing and new products across our Sweet and Savoury Brands, including noodles, cakes, gravy, stock, custard, rice pudding, Indian sauces, Chinese sauces, Italian sauces, and soup.
- You will be required to work 9.15am - 12.15pm, Tuesday to Friday, and will get the majority of school holidays off, including half terms and end of terms.
Requirements
- You will need to have a broad general knowledge and a keen interest in food.
- You must have a non-restrictive diet.
- You will need to be a good communicator and keen to take part in group discussions.
- You will need to be a strong team player.
- You will need to be willing to try all products and open to new flavours and textures.
