Electronics Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Somerset. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components and circuits for our bespoke solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical development of established products and new product introductions.
  • Design and develop electronic components and circuits for low voltage DC power solutions.
  • Support the technical development of custom product solutions and ensure smooth project transfer to manufacturing.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance for electrical applications.
  • Formulate technical aspects of BOMs and assist with development and approval of production assembly instructions.
  • Input data to the company ERP system in support of the technical department.
  • Assist with authoring product specifications and instructions, as well as after-sales support services.
  • Manage the preparation of technical reports and develop product tests and records as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot anomalies in electronic behavior.
  • Understanding of battery communication protocols and programming.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical or electronic engineering).
  • Ability to understand the effects of current legislation on products being developed.
