Position Overview

User Acceptance Testing Specialist:

SF Technology Solutions is seeking a User Acceptance Testing Specialist with a minimum of five years of experience in the field.

This position is ideal for a seasoned UAT Specialist with a robust background in manual testing, who is eager to engage with a diverse and stimulating technical portfolio while joining a team that is currently experiencing growth as the organization aims to enhance its technical capabilities.

Key Qualifications for the UAT Specialist:

  • Over 5 years of testing experience in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Familiarity with the energy or utility sector is advantageous, particularly knowledge of supplier invoicing and charging mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Extensive experience in user acceptance testing related to comprehensive workflows rather than isolated features.
  • Proficiency in navigating and understanding intricate business logic.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders or project management is a plus.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend and effectively communicate project requirements and the business processes supported by development.
  • Identify and articulate the key requirements of both internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Review development tickets in JIRA along with the associated acceptance criteria to grasp the objectives of the development.
  • Clearly communicate the development goals and demonstrate a testing strategy/approach.
  • Conduct all user acceptance testing utilizing both manual and automated testing methods.
  • Ensure test cases and plans encompass verification of both back-end logic and front-end functionality.
  • Augment user acceptance testing with any additional relevant testing methods.
  • Complete test plans in a clear, consistent format aligned with all testing activities.
  • Provide feedback and support to developers throughout the testing process for areas needing attention, rework, or bug resolution.
  • Create necessary development tickets in JIRA for any further development work required, ensuring alignment with lead developers.
  • Re-execute test cases and plans to confirm satisfactory resolution of any identified issues.
  • Develop documentation to support the release of new features and functionality to users, including business logic and usage instructions.
  • Assist stakeholders in transitioning to new workflows.
  • Deliver regular, clear, and concise progress updates, proactively highlighting any potential impacts to the project timeline.
