We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Summerhill's Little Treasures. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our children to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities- Form strong relationships with children, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in their surroundings.
- Provide a nurturing environment that encourages children to learn through play and exploration.
- Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Ensure the preschool is a safe space for children, staff, and others.
- Develop partnerships with parents and external agencies to support children's development.
- Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to confidentiality, reliability, punctuality, and behavior expectations.
- Follow instructions and seek guidance to support your development within the EYFS setting.
- Take on delegated tasks from the school leadership team.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
- Contribute to ensuring the EYFS setting meets Ofsted requirements.
- Collaborate with local professionals to benefit children and families.
- Understand and adhere to EYFS setting policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incidents, and risk assessments.
- Liaise closely with parents, exchanging information about children's progress and encouraging involvement.
