About the Role

United Response is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Leiston. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with physical and mental health conditions, as well as learning difficulties, to live independently and fulfill their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning and cooking, to promote independence and well-being.
  • Administer medication and provide personal care to ensure the health and safety of our service users.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and engage in leisure activities to promote social interaction and community integration.
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and interests, and promote their independence where possible.
  • Participate in outreach work to engage with the local community and promote the services offered by United Response.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.75.
  • 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part-time staff), which increases after 3 and 5 years' service.
