Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on each person's unique needs and goals.
  • Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events.
  • Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and any changes in health or behavior.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for individuals.
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification, skills, and experience.
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
