We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Banwell. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing setting out and engineering control on site.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in creating a safe working environment and coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities.
- Provide information to operatives and subcontractors and complete diary sheets along with photographic evidence as required.
- Undertake material reconciliations and ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
- Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings and produce D and D site sketches.
- Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining the as-built records.
- Assist in basic planning, monitoring and programming and control and minimise waste on site.
- Identify and assist in introducing new processes, techniques and innovations on site and ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use.
- You will have the ability to work safely and read and interpret data and drawings.
- You will have advanced setting out techniques and be able to use Level and EDM with knowledge of GPS preferred.
- You will have relevant Civil Engineering experience (Highways, Rail, water or aviation) and proven leadership and delegation skills.
- You will have a flexible attitude to work and problem-solving skills.
- You will hold NVQ Level or higher, SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.
- You will have office expertise/CAD.
