Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our Concrete Department team. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to process and schedule orders for delivery
- Input, update, and maintain customer data
- Develop a good geographical knowledge of central Scotland
- Develop and manage professional relationships with new and existing customers
- Assist with coordinating the movement of customer orders
- Assist with planning and preparing transportation schedules, and planning routes
- Deal with incoming customer enquiries
- Communicate with other sites and staff to facilitate orders and deliveries
Requirements
- Polite, professional, and courteous approach to dealing with customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure
