Assistant Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at a leading residential developer in Eastbourne. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager and leading the site during holiday periods.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with other established house builders and will be responsible for leading large complex sites with a variety of property types, from apartments to 2/3/4 bedroomed homes. You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site and will be responsible for supporting him during his absence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to develop their career within a reputable organisation and gain further experience working on projects involving a mix of traditional and timber frame. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Graduate or Managers CSCS and First Aid. Without this, we will not be able to progress your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the site
  • Lead the site during holiday periods
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site
  • Responsible for supporting the Site Manager during his absence
  • Develop and implement site plans and procedures
  • Monitor and report on site progress and performance

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with other established house builders
  • Graduate or Managers CSCS and First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
