Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site team, you will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver successful projects safely, on time, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and ensure that tasks are carried out safely, on time, and to the required standard.
- Ensure compliance with company Business Management System and promote SHE standards through strong supervision.
- Chair and lead regular Subcontractor Coordination meetings to monitor progress against programme and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
- Take off and requisition of materials in sufficient time to ensure that they are available when required on site.
- Ensure the safe working practices are adopted and followed throughout the project in accordance with current Legislation and Group Policy and Procedures.
Requirements
- Valid First Aid at Work Certificate.
- NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.
- Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate.
- Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Asta.
- Experience in a management or supervisory position.
- Knowledge of NHBC Standards and HBF ratings.
