Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products, including Property Owners, Liability Coverage, Loss of Rent, Engineering, Contract All Risks, Tradesman, Terrorism, Household, Office, and Retail Packages.
- Manage relationships with individual small business clients and medium-sized portfolios, overseeing a total premium book of under £2,000,000.
- Handle a portfolio of renewals effectively.
- Establish and nurture productive working relationships with clients, aiming for optimal customer satisfaction.
- Build and sustain connections with insurance providers.
- Prepare correspondence adhering to specified timelines and quality standards.
- Issue and process documentation for new business, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and renewals.
- Provide quotations for new business and re-broke existing renewals.
- Occasionally conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, both in the office and externally.
- Maintain accurate records in both paper and digital formats, ensuring proper filing procedures are followed.
- Respond to general inquiries competently via telephone, email, or in person, ensuring the accuracy of the information provided.
- Participate in relevant training programs, both in-house and externally.
