Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs in a large Victorian house with a small backyard.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established service, supporting 4 individuals with varying interests and needs. You will be responsible for promoting their choices, wellbeing, and independence, while encouraging them to access their local community and experience new things.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs in a person-centered approach
  • Encourage and promote independence, choice, and wellbeing
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to policies and procedures
