We are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in an older adult assessment unit. This position is part-time and based in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing and delivering exceptional, person-centered care to older adults within an 11-bed unit. The unit caters to individuals with diverse needs, including functional illnesses and behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, healthcare support staff, advanced nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, psychologists, and pharmacists. This collaborative approach is essential for effectively addressing and managing the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate a genuine interest in working with older adults, possess excellent communication skills, and show a willingness to grow within the nursing role and as part of the team.

Our unit is an excellent learning space for all levels of staff, encouraging continuous development and offering a wide range of formal training opportunities from both the Health Board and local educational institutions, as well as from our in-house development programs.
