Palliative Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Palliative Care Nurse to join our team at Willing Care, providing care and support to children and young adults with life-limiting conditions in a hospice setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide holistic, individualized nursing care to patients in the palliative care unit
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications, monitor symptoms, and provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring their comfort and dignity
- Educate and support family members and caregivers in providing care at home
- Participate in bereavement support for families following the loss of a loved one
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Registered Nurse with a valid RGN, RNLD, or RSCN qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin
- Proven experience in hospice, palliative, or paediatric nursing (Critical care)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide emotional support
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing environments
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to end-of-life care
- Knowledge of symptom management and pain control in palliative care
