Air Freight Coordinator Job Description

WR Logistics is seeking a skilled Air Freight Coordinator to join our team in Bristol, UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and timely freight process flow, accurate data entry, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Track and trace air freight files
  • Use Global Air Freight Workflow Monitor on a daily basis
  • Ensure documents are timely sent to customers or brokers for customs purposes
  • Accurately and timely client and vendors billing
  • Interact with customers to arrange international shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • Meet compliance with regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
  • Understand department process flow and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are in place and updated
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures
  • Respond to overseas communications and requests in a timely manner
  • Escalate problems to Management when necessary
