M&E Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Design Engineer to join our team at Nolan Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing energy-saving solutions for various projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the Lead Engineer and the wider team in the development of energy-saving solutions, providing assistance from the initial idea to the final stages of development. You will be responsible for developing solutions to energy and water efficiency upgrade challenges, conducting site surveys and building reports, and producing and designing calculations for different projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Lead Engineer and the wider team with the development of energy-saving solutions.
  • Provide assistance from the initial idea to the final stages of development.
  • Develop solutions to energy and water efficiency upgrade challenges.
  • Conduct site surveys and building reports for solution development.
  • Produce and design calculations for different projects.
  • Conduct energy modelling and savings calculations.
  • Assist in optimising the design processes that are currently in place.
  • Ensure all aspects of new and ongoing projects are in line with up-to-date best practice industry standards.
Requirements
  • Experience of designing renewable energy heating systems or building services related designs is preferable.
  • Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD and Revit is preferable.
  • Engineering-related degree such as Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services (related degrees will be considered).
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel and Word).
