Nouvo Recruitment is collaborating with a remarkable client in the North West London area, a company that has rapidly established itself as a leader in its industry, experiencing continuous growth.

Consequently, they are seeking to fill a newly created role of Health and Safety Manager.

Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Coordinate a comprehensive Health & Safety framework and assist in identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety processes are effectively implemented to guarantee full compliance.
  • Review and refine the Health & Safety procedures to stay ahead of client expectations.
  • Generate detailed reports on portfolio Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), categorized into relevant sections.
  • Evaluate portfolio risks and overall compliance across the organization.
  • Formulate strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Advise on allocating resources to projects based on risk assessments.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with GDPR regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess a solid understanding of the QUBE computer system.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of property compliance legislation and best practices.
  • Develop contractual relationships and services with specialized Health & Safety and Fire Safety consultants.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety policies and procedures align with current legislation and industry best practices.
  • Assist departmental managers in implementing Health & Safety strategies and monitor compliance progress.
  • Support managers in achieving risk mitigation objectives.
  • Maintain and review records of all incidents and accidents.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety activities comply with current legislation and best practices.
  • Review and confirm that all properties have up-to-date Health & Safety documentation and appropriate signage.
  • Manage electronic data and ensure timely responses to communications.
  • Create and maintain informational packs for the Operational Team, both on-site and off-site.
  • Provide management, support, and assistance to the Facilities Assistant.
