Radiology Consultant with a specialist interest in Breast Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in Breast Imaging, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Providing Diagnostic and Interventional Services
You will be responsible for providing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional services, including breast imaging, to patients across our trust. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Leading and Developing the TeamAs a Consultant Radiologist, you will be expected to lead and develop the team, providing guidance and support to junior colleagues and contributing to the development of our department's policies and procedures.
Contributing to Research and EducationYou will be expected to contribute to research and education within the department, including participating in clinical trials, publishing research papers, and teaching and training junior colleagues.
Participating in Quality Improvement InitiativesYou will be expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives, including contributing to the development of new policies and procedures, and participating in audits and reviews.
Requirements- Registration with the GMC
You must be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and have a licence to practice.
Specialist Training in Breast ImagingYou must have specialist training in breast imaging and be able to demonstrate your expertise in this area.
Leadership and Management SkillsYou must have strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and develop a team, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Research and Education ExperienceYou must have experience of contributing to research and education within a department, including participating in clinical trials, publishing research papers, and teaching and training junior colleagues.
