About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to join our team at SDW Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods between countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and compile quotations and invoices
  • Deal with import and export entries using various systems in line with HMRC regulations
  • Consult with shipping lines, third parties, and other forwarders to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Manage key accounts and other duties as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in export/multi-modal forwarding
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills and good IT knowledge
