Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Role Overview: As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing engaging physical education lessons, fostering fitness awareness, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices among students. Your role will include evaluating student performance, providing constructive insights, and organizing various sports events while ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging physical education lessons that cater to a variety of learning preferences and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student involvement and enthusiasm.
  • Continuously assess and track student development, providing tailored feedback to aid individual growth.
  • Plan and engage in extracurricular sports programs, events, and competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum, fostering a comprehensive educational approach.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in physical education, applying modern teaching techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Specialization in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a PE Teacher is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong commitment to promoting health and wellness within the educational setting.
  • Applicants should have an updated CV covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
