Job Title: Consultant Haematologist

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Haematologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of haematology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnosis, screening, treatment, and management of patients with haematological disorders.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct research to improve procedures and outcomes in haematology.
  • Teach and train junior doctors and medical students in haematology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of haematology services.
Requirements:
  • Be a GMC registered Doctor (no need to be on the Specialist Register).
  • Have relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support your transition up to Consultant level.
  • Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (Medacs cannot offer visa sponsorship).
  • Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
