About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Three Rivers District Council. As an Office Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Hemel Hempstead Crematorium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage correspondence and prepare reports to ensure the smooth operation of services
  • Support the development of efficient office systems and procedures
  • Prepare and send correspondence, advise the public on cremation procedures and commemoration options, and update the cremation database
  • Assist with chapel duties, including preparing for funeral services, checking music and webcasting requirements, and supporting clergy and officiants with procedures
  • Ensure the confidentiality of client information at all times
  • Handle telephone, reception, and other inquiries constructively

Requirements

  • General office experience in an administrative role
  • Experience dealing with the bereaved or working in an equivalent sensitive and caring environment
  • Knowledge of and the ability to process invoices and payments
  • Excellent administration skills
