In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain to achieve strategic objectives while leading a substantial team focused on logistics coordination, inventory management, and process enhancement. Your efforts will ensure outstanding service delivery across our distribution channels.
We embrace a hybrid working model that balances in-office collaboration with flexible working arrangements. You will spend three days a week at our head office, with the remaining time to work as you choose. Our office environment is designed for comfort and productivity, featuring a subsidized canteen and ample parking.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Oversee all facets of central logistics operations, managing a large team responsible for event planning, process optimization, and direct import logistics. Strategic Development: Partner with the Director of Supply Chain to establish long-term strategic goals and foster relationships with essential stakeholders, including Retail and Logistics partners. Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication across the organization, engaging with senior management and board members. Forecasting & Planning: Utilize financial data and performance metrics to manage outbound logistics, ensuring high service levels while controlling costs. Collaborative Efforts: Work alongside the Commercial Planning team to support key trading events and adapt to seasonal changes. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Logistics teams to anticipate future needs and enhance inventory management. Continuous Improvement: Spearhead the development and governance of logistics systems to achieve optimal outcomes for both customers and the business.Qualifications
